I made it

We made it to church today despite leaving home when it started and both of us feeling like poo.

I signed up for the Women's Retreat thinking it was in two weeks only to find out that it is in fact a a week away and coinciding with a set of Disneyland secret shops....

The house is slowly returning to normal. I am hoping it will be clean again by Wednesday.

Junior High Trauma

OMG. 6th grade was hell. I was clumsy and awkward and the only student who didn't have a personal trainer for each sport we were required to play in PE. The one time I managed to hit the soft ball, I hopped up and down and celebrated and didn't notice in my excitement that I had actually HIT THE PITCHER in the nose with the softball. It was a bad bad year for the rest of the year after that happened. The girl I hit was gracious and got over it, but one more than one occasion I was cornered in the girl's restroom by other members of her posse....

Thankfully in 7th and 8th grade, I had a kind and sensitive PE teacher who understood and just let me walk laps during PE. No more basketball or softball trauma for me!

Whoo hoo! Two days in a row!

I don't know how long it will last because the power strip on my laptop died. Thankfully I bought the extended warranty, but I am sure I will have a 2-3 week wait to get a replacement. :( I am posting this from Travis's computer... he does not share well with others, so I wouldn't trust it.

I was highly productive today, and still have tons to do. Christmas is still present in our house, and yes, that means we still have a tree shedding in front of our picture window. I still need to unpack my suit case as well.

So I did some Internet Research. During my Internet Research, I discovered that Nanowrimo officially stands for National Novel Writing Month. I don't think I am ready for a novel yet, but I think I have one in me somewhere. :)

And an update on the Phantom Baby movements, they are still present. :( I apparently have a severe case of blub blub.

I weighed myself today. The news was not good and that is all I am going to say about that.

I have been making more of an effort to pray more regularly and with purpose. We will see what happens.

Nanoblogpomo

So Nanowrimo (sp?) is the national november write more month or something like that. I don't consider myself a writer, but I think I might like to be one when I grow up.

Anyway, Nanowrimo, noblopomo, and et al. are a movement to get you you to blog or write the great American novel by writing daily for the month of November.

Since I am let's face it, me; I have decided to have my own NaBloPoMo here in my personal ranting blog a wee bit late. Starting today. On the 5th day of the month. Two months later.

I never said that timeliness was a strong suit did I?

Okay so I have been having random phantom in utero baby movement feelings this evening. I have an IUD and I had a pap last month, so to be pregnant and in fact pregnant enough to feel the baby kicking would be rather miraculous. I told my best friend Maggie about it and she said, "oh yeah, I get gas like that that all the time too. It's just that we know what a moving baby feels like now, so that is what we associate it with."
I am sure she is right, but I am tempted to run to the store for a store brand PG test. Even though I know it would come back negative. I haven't been this tempted to buy a PG test since the summer we conceived Alton!

Digiscrapping is taking over my life. In a good way. I am even thinking about giving up my Twilight board. We shall see.
I even signed up to do a 365 photo scrapbooking challenge... I think between that and the two CTs I am on, and my new Nanoblogmorrobay challenge I have made for myself, and my 18 month old, I may have bit off a bit more than I can chew.

So what are you wearing?

I am still wearing my track pants from this morning’s disastrous trip to the snow. Did you know that virgin snow is usually not packed? Did you know that unpacked snow will give; instantaneously guaranteeing the de-virginizer of the snow legs covered in snow up to over the knees? Did you know that snow will then find every chink in your carefully crafted city girl snow outfit armor?

I am also wearing a white gathered t-shirt. It’s actually pretty cute, but I don’t think it really matches the pants.
